The first Lyson pigmented ink set, Cave Paint Maximum is a replacement for the Epson archival pigment ink set as used on the first Epson pigment printers such as the Epson Pro 7500, 9500 and 10000CF as well as wide format printers that use Epson print head technology. Providing a wider color gamut than the original inks, the Cave Paint maximum colors can also be used with the Photochrome matte black to achieve deep rich blacks on matte and fine art papers.
